Re-animated corpses

Why is it that every movie or t.v. that tries to make a Frankenstein's Monster ALWAYS cuts parts off of many bodies and sews them back together?

Wouldn't it be so much more logical to use a whole body?

This questions sometimes drives me nuts. Usually only when I'm watching a show on the theme.

Insomnia and Blogging.

It is 3:30 am. I have to get up at 7:00 am. I sure wish I was tired enough to go to sleep. Work is going to last forever at this rate. I'm not looking forward to it.

I'm still finding this site a pain in the rear to use. There seems to be no ability to search by topics.

Well, there is a search field. But it only seems to search my own blogs. That isn't at all useful.

And my normal forum site has gone all wonky in the last 20 minutes. I can't seem to get anything done there.

Oh well, perhaps a shower will help.

Searching

okay, maybe it is just me, but I can't find any way to SEARCH this site for blogs on certain topics. And for a blog that I know is out there. I'm getting frustrated.....

Fibromyalgia, meds vs vitamins and activity

Okay, I was on a site and reading a discussion on Fibromyalgia.

All these people taking all these meds thinking the meds treat the disorder and that they don't have to do anything else but pop pills.

WOW, I have it and treat it and keep it under control without med.

Although I do pop pills. A multi-vitamin with iron, one with fewer binders, so I can digest it. And extra calicum and B-12......

According to MY doctor, the disorder is a stress disorder where your body doesn't process the physical reactions to stress properly and stores the byproducts of stress.

He said that meds treat the pain and the sleep issues, but only so that one can finally start getting energy back and to relieve enought of the pain to start excersizing and getting active again.

Physical activity to help the body burn out the stored stress chemicals is the only REAL way to actually treat the disorder itself, he told me.

They have always said excersize is good for stress. But is wasn't just a way to channel the stress energy, it actually helps the body process the chemicals that are produced and build up in responce to stress.

The vitamins help deal with chronic fatigue issues. So that I have the rest and the energy to do physical activities. And those activities help keep the aches, the pain, and the other symptoms away.

I also don't let some of the little things get to me as much. It isn't as easy as it sounds. It took a few years of practice to help some things go and not worry about them.

But, I suppose that this method of treating doesn't bring in the money for the drug companies, so doctors that are in the drug companies pockets don't want to tell people it can be this inexpensive to treat.

Just people have an idea of how bad it was before I started this, I was horribly exhausted and reached a point where I couldn't function and was missing work. I didn't even know all my aches and pains were related to it. I thought I was sleeping weird because I was so tired, or sleeping badly because of the insomnia, and that caused the body aches.

I about flew off the table from when he put a little bit of pressure on the typical pain points for fibromyalgia in the legs. And I hadn't even realized those were hurtings, I was so used to a certain level of aches and pains.
